Sie ist so herzlich, offen und zuvorkommend zu ihren Gästen, wie man es selten erlebt und engagiert sich außerdem über alle maßen für die dortige Zulu Gemeinde! Die Bungalows sind im landestypischen Stil erbaut und in einem schönen Garten verteilt. Man kann tolle Ausflüge in die interessante Umgebung machen und erhält tolle Tipps dafür. Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit und empfehle Jedem, nicht nur St. Lucia zu besuchen.

She helped organise a tour of lake Sibaya, made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. She was very personal and made you feel at home. The rooms were very charming and spacious and a well equipped communal kitchen. - It was only a bit further off from Sodwana bay than we thought it would be, but still close enough for a short drive by car.
Corinna, (ZA) / 2020-01-12 - Ruhige, familiäre Lodge zum Ausspannen - Sehr nette, ruhig gelegene Lodge, ideal für den kleinen Geldbeutel, um einen erholsamen Urlaub mit der ganzen Familie inklusive Haustier zu verbringen. Die geräumigen Zulu-Hütten sind einfach, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Es gibt keinen Fernseher, den wir jedoch nicht vermissten. Schön waren der runde Pool und die Dusche unterm Sternenhimmel. In der großen Gemeinschaftsküche ist auch eine Waschmaschine vorhanden. Yasmine, die Besitzerin der Lodge, stand uns mit Rat und Tat immer zur Seite. 🙂

Zorneding, (DE) / 2020-01-04 - Die beste Unterkunft in Südafrika - Die Besitzerin Jasmin ist einmalig und sehr freundlich. Sie liest jedem Gast den Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Die Mitarbeiterin Pumi war auch super nett. Die Unterkunft war ein Traum und der Abend, welcher von Jasmin organisiert wurde, war der Schönste unserer Reise. Niemand meckerte und es war einfach alles perfekt.

Pieter, (BE) / 2019-12-31 - home abroad - Great little Zulu village-like lodge on large terrain, big huts that are like full appartment. Nice people and dogs and local staff that go the extra mile for your comfort. Big communal kitchen and extra large huts with outdoor showers. Yasmin, the owner is a great care taker and has built a long term home there and you will also start feeling home there fast. Sandy area = no mosquitos I have seen. The dirt road is sandy but no probs for normal Corolla. There is a 2x2m sign on the main road , you need to turn at the signpost as it is that little private road that is the entrance to the lodge and the Zulu villagers around. Many languages are spoken there. (English, German, French, Zulu)
Sometimes power cuts happen in South Africa and this area ( <=> all accomodation in wide area) gets its share of the load shedding. (neighbouring countries are not able to catch falling S-Africa if they are having interruptions). mobile phones are down then too. Prepare for getting the whatsapp location tag beforehand from Jasmin in case you arrive after dark. (PS: When you have inserted a local sim card - with data only- you can add whatsapp contacts and call/ text in advance)
Kevin and Amelie, (DE) / 2019-12-21 - A home far away from home - Yasmine and her team gave us a very very warm welcome and I have to say that we never stayed at a place where someone did so much to make her guests happy. The bungalow we stayed in was very nice, clean and well designed. Also it was really cool to see that Yasmine cares about her neighbours and has a good relation with the local people which is worth a lot in terms of responsible tourism.

Yasmine was prepared to make us breakfast at 06h00 which we declined. She made us a breakfast parcel that could feed a army. Even though it was after 18h00 she specially got the staff to make fire for us so we could enjoy it in the boma area.

Die Chalets sind Zulu - Rundhütten nachempfunden und haben eine tolle Architektur, sie sind sehr geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Man ist in the middle of nowhere, mitten auf dem Land, ein toller Sternenhimmel, absolute Ruhe und eine tolle Gastgerberin, unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen.

Gautam, (SE) / 2019-03-27 - Fantastic hostess and very nice rooms! Being out in the farmlands, this place is a serene haven that we are so glad we found. The hospitality and generosity from Jasmine and her crew is out of the ordinary, making you feel right at home. The facilities are new and clean with everything you need, comfy beds and nice interior. It is a bit out of town from Sodwana, but really worth the visit!
Caitlin, (CN) / 2019-03-15 - Perfect place to relax close to Sodwana Bay, very good value for money!Unique modern African designed huts with plenty of space. The common area is clean and there is an area outside to make your own braai/BBQ. The owner, Yasmine, was very friendly and provided helpful travel tips. If you are traveling from Johannesburg, do not take the road through Jozini. Google maps showed the route to Jozini as a shortcut, however, it ended up taking twice as long as expected due to the poor condition of the roads.

L'endroit est magnifique et reposant, à 15km de la belle plage de Sodwana bay (les hébergements les plus proches sont à 6km et quand il faut prendre sa voiture, faire 15km ou 6 ne change pas grand chose). C'est confortable, bien équipé et beau. Yasmine est pleine d'attentions, elle m'a donné beaucoup d'informations pour bien visiter la région. Elle est conviviale et chaleureuse, son staff aussi. Ça a été ma "maison du bonheur en Afrique du Sud" et je suis restée 4 nuits au lieu de 4. Allez y et prenez votre temps... Ce lieu restera l'un de mes meilleurs souvenirs d'Afrique du Sud.

Die Besitzerin kümmert sich sehr herzlich um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Es ist ein wenig weit weg vom Strand, jedoch liegen die Cottages sehr einsam. Man hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr sauber gehalten.

The owner has a foundation that helps bring water to people in need in the region. Place might be a bit difficult to find, needs a sign on the main road. Just call to get precise directions.
